Phoenician Alphabet – Nun
The purpose of this project was to utilize type in different forms using a letter from the Phoenician alphabet and creating a design around it and its meaning. The letter I chose to work with is Nun. I tried to keep the animal meaning tied into the design, making it appear like a snake slithering through the text. Since the symbol represents an animal, I developed the body text to have a certain playful quality, and chose a font that gave off the impression of fun for the display type.
